Camping Party Definition
Due to wear and tear, maintenance and conservation factors within
the campground, limits must be placed on the party size, i.e., the
number of people and vehicles each campsite can accommodate.
Camping Party:
• 1-4 persons 16 years of age or older. A maximum of 8 persons
including children (15 years of age and younger).
• 1 vehicle and trailer. Either 1 (but not both) may be an RV.
• One camping party per site, unless otherwise authorized.
Second Vehicle on-site:
• A camping party may have a second vehicle (non-RV) on-site for an
additional nightly charge of ½ the campsite fee.
Note: A towed vehicle and / or boat are not
considered a second vehicle.
• Each member of a party may have one motorcycle i.e. four people
with two motorcycles towing bike trailers, is one camping fee.
Here is a Party Size Definition Table that explains camping party,
second vehicle on-site and campsite maximum calculations.
To determine party size:
- How many persons in the group 16 years or older?
- How many persons in the group 15 years or younger?
- Compare these numbers on table “A”. This gives you the number of parties based on the number of persons.
- Compare the number of parties from Table “A” with vehicle info. on table “B”. This will give you the number of fees to charge.
